Joe Riley Waterfront Park is a large public park located on the Charleston Harbor, with beautiful views of the water and the city skyline. Within the park you’ll find the Pineapple Fountain. The pineapple is the true symbol of hospitality, friendship, and welcome in the city.
Rainbow Row refers to the iconic row of 13 pastel-colored historic homes on East Bay Street. Nowadays, Rainbow Row is the most photographed area of Charleston.
This historic marketplace has dozens of vendors selling a variety of goods such as souvenirs, clothing, artwork, jewelry, and of course local items like sweetgrass baskets, benne wafers, and roasted pecans. Outside the market there’s tons of southern foodie specialties to try.
