As everyone knows, Courtney is from Philly and Joey is from Chicago. Since we started dating, we've been going to Charleston together. Joey went to Clemson and loves the city; Courtney grew up going to South Carolina in the summer - both have a deep love for the state. Charleston fits the vibe - all about good food, strong drinks, and beautiful scenery.

While we love your little ones, we will be keeping the celebration to over 21. If anyone is in need of a babysitter in the Charleston area, please let Courtney know as we do have friends who have offered to assist!

We have reserved room blocks at three hotels. The Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn are downtown and centrally located. The transportation to/from the venue will come from the Embassy Suites. That said, if you do not wish to stay in the blocks, downtown Charleston is very easy to get around via Uber.

Broken down by cost... Expensive: Husk (we recommend booking reservations at least 2 months in advance, very expensive, but fabulous) Moderate: Poogans Porch (great for brunch - so fun!), 82 Queen (some of the best she-crab soup in the city) Less expensive: truthfully, we haven't had a bad meal in this city.

The only thing we both love more than our dog, each other, and our respective sports teams is having the best time with our family and friends. We recommend a good night sleep, a lot of hydration, and come with your dancing shoes ready. We promise a weekend filled with a lot of laughs, dancing, and memories. No promises on how you'll feel on Sunday.

The average temperature for March will be in and around 65 degrees. Please note that we will be outside, so be sure to keep an eye on the chill factor.

Our dress code is listed as cocktail - dresses and suits will be perfect. For the women, please be aware that the ceremony and reception will take place on the grass. Please be mindful of this when thinking about your shoes!
