Two weeks after turning Drew down, Courtney finally compromised and agreed to meet him at Group Therapy.

Courtney was quickly introduced to Drew's love of cars and racetracks at Road Atlanta. She also got to know Drew’s dad, Steve, probably a little more than she wanted to while Drew went out on the track.

Within a month, Courtney was introduced to Pensacola, her favorite of Drew’s duty stations thus far.

They quickly discovered a shared love of College Gameday and football Saturdays, as well as a shared love for Blue and Gold.

Soon, Drew became even more irresistible to Courtney when she was introduced to the flightsuit.

Drew happily took advantage of a short seven hour drive, and Courtney’s family’s extra Clemson ticket...

…many many times!

Thanksgiving Day - Courtney discovered Drew's preference for Kraft mac and cheese over homemade mac and cheese.

Our first Christmas together

For New Years, Courtney crossed the Mississippi river for her first time to come visit Drew's new Texas duty station.

Courtney continued Drew's country music education in Austin, Texas.

July 4th - Take Two - Courtney didn’t turn down Drew’s date offer this time.

A year in, Drew had a great opportunity to share his college town of Annapolis with Courtney.

Having now crossed the Mississippi River multiple times while Drew lived in Texas, Courtney decided it was time to cross a new body of water…the Pacific.

They flew out to Hawaii and stayed in a beautiful hotel and house, before Courtney tested the waters of camping...

...which she found she liked very much!

Despite her proneness to seasickness, Courtney blindly agreed to a zodiac boat tour not knowing what a zodiac was until they pulled up to the harbor. She discovered that she liked that as well!

Drew moved back to Florida and could only escape the inevitable for so long, treating Courtney to a trip to Disney. Though she was nearly kicked out of Disney by Disney police a mere two hours into the trip, which was not at all scarring for Courtney.

Courtney continued to take a liking to Marine Corps uniforms, the next being Dress Blues for Drew’s winging

With Drew’s winging came a cross country adventure with numerous stops all across the country, starting with Texas.

As part of Drew's attempt to convince Courtney that California was better than North Carolina, another Disney trip was in order.

Then it became Courtney's turn to woo Drew with a new uniform.

Drew took Courtney on the coldest and most memorable walk through downtown Greenville, where he asked a very important question….

And of course, she said YES!
