September in the Colorado mountains usually brings warm days and cool evenings, with lots of sunshine. Plan for temps anywhere from the mid 60s to low 80s during the day, and cooler in the evening — layers are your friend! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so please dress comfortably for the elements

We’re keeping the celebration mostly adults-only, with the exception of a few close family children. We hope you can join us for a relaxing evening to celebrate together!

The closest major airport is Denver International Airport (DIA), about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the wedding venue. From there, you can rent a car or coordinate with other guests for a shared ride. If you’re staying in Arvada or nearby, it’s a great middle point between the airport and the venue.

Yes! We’ll have shuttle vans available the evening of the wedding to take guests to and from the venue, including pickup from the hotel and nearby Airbnbs/VRBOs. You can catch a ride back to the Residence Inn Arvada (we will need to know ahead of time if you plan to use the shuttles).

Yes! There will be parking available for our Colorado family and for anyone wrestling with the joys of renting a car (lol).

We’ve reserved a hotel block in Arvada and there are cabins available onsite (with a reservation). You’ll find all the details in the Travel or Accommodations section. If you're booking an Airbnb or VRBO, here are some great nearby options: Close to the Welcome Party Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Southern Westminster (25–35 minutes to the venue) Close to the Wedding Venue Pine, Conifer, Pine Junction, Dakota Ridge (5–15 minutes to the venue) There are also several cabins and vacation rentals right near the venue — perfect for those who want to stay close. Reminder: Book early! Summer/Fall weekends fill up fast, and our hotel block is only available until August 10, 2025. If you’re staying off-site, let us know. We may be able to coordinate shuttle pickup!

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this special moment. We’ve got amazing photographers capturing everything. BUT after the ceremony, feel free to snap away!
