Our Wedding

Who knew that a brunch date one August morning would result in finding forever love?? We met in August 2023 and have been inseparable ever since! After multiple trips and being a ‘medium distance’ couple, we decided to build a home together in Redmond in April. Minutes after the New Year 2025, Ian asked me to be his wife and I excitedly said yes!! We are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together- loving, laughing and exploring. Visit Santa even in the summertime! Fun tourist attraction with all things Christmas! Santa may even be there and the reindeer!

Fairbanks Ice Museum

This cute outdoor park has all of the things: mini gold, a train, old mining tunnels, a carousel and a ton of Alaska history from the Indigenous peoples to the Gold Rush and beyond. There is also a salmon bake buffet that serves up traditional Alaskan fare.

Pioneer Park

Enjoy the benefits of the wilderness by soaking in a natural hot spring! It is quite a ways from town (there is a shuttle!)  but worth the trip! There is also an ice hotel you can tour while there!

Chena Hot Springs Resort

The riverboat discovery is a Fairbanks staple! Learn about Fairbanks history while paddling down the Chena River! You can try local game, see a dog sled team and learn about the Athabascan people and their ties to the river. You can also check out an authentic gold dredge and goldpan at Gold Dredge #8 (this is a separate tour, but owned by the same people. you can do both in one day!)
