We will be having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at The Standard on State Street in Rockford, IL.

We have a block of rooms set up through The Embassy Suites (Hilton) just down the road from the venue. Check out our “travel” section for more information.

There is free parking down the street from the venue in a pinch. We will have shuttles from the hotel starting around 1:30-2:35 so best bet is to park at the hotel & hitch a shuttle ride! Shuttles will be taking people back after the reception starting at 8. **please be aware there are several events being held around Rockford that day so take that into consideration for your arrival time and parking availability if not planning to park at the hotel & shuttle.

This is a 3 story venue but have no fear, elevators are here! There is also a wheelchair lift as well upon entering the venue. Bathrooms are also on every floor.

In an effort to keep this wedding as personal as we can, we are limiting our guests to a set list. Your invitation will note if you were given a plus one or will say “family” if we have invited your older children with you.

There is a no tolerance smoking/vaping policy in and around the venue outside of designated areas. Guests are welcome to smoke outside the main entrance of the building and in the back corner of the outdoor rooftop. Please look for signs that point out these spots. If security or someone from the venue catch a guest smoking outside of these designated areas they will have them removed from the premises. If for any reason you were thinking about bringing in confetti to celebrate with us, please, if you love us and don’t want us to clean on our hands and knees that night, don’t bring it. Otherwise have a great time and enjoy all the space had to offer! Plenty of great photo spots!

Our biggest ask of our guests is your full presence at our wedding, but we get it, you want to snap a few quick pics & it’s not a big deal. Please do your best to avoid being in the aisle (limbs & phones) and in direct line of our photographer(s) & bridal party.

We would love to see you all dressed up in formal wear for our big day! This is NOT considered a black-tie event. Our colors are black and white, so black is totally fair game, but sorry everyone, we’re still calling dibs on white 😉. You can dress in any other color though there is no limit! Just keep in mind it will be winter weather which can still vary, but best to assume it will be colder than not. We will be inside for the entire evening so you don’t have to stay bundled.

Sure will! Open bar from cocktail hour until 9pm. There will be a bar on the second floor only for the duration of the day but guests are welcome to bring their drinks with them to other parts of the venue. If you take an early shuttle you can grab a drink before the ceremony at Carlyle Brewing or Disco chicken right next door to The Standard!
