From an unlikely beginning, we both found ourselves together at nearly every event we went to, eventually finding our way to a social with other cadets in the ROTC program.

The first event that we went to outside of school was Zane's birthday, where Coye left a mark that would last a lifetime. Of all things, bringing Zane a pineapple the first time they met will never be forgotten.

Shortly after came a longer time to spend together, New Year's Eve. Getting more time to get to know each other on a special day of the year, full of celebration, and food.

Back to school, and back to ROTC. Even after the holiday, we can't stop working, and the fitness test is right around the corner. With the wing, there is no shortage of goofy photos to find.

On the more serious side, the grind never stops, and fitness will only worsen if we don't keep working hard to get there. Time to work, and put up our efforts for our future career.

A trip that will not be forgotten and a lasting impression made. A surprise that started with an early morning drive to the private side of the airport and a flight to LA. All day spent going around southern California ending with a beautiful sunset and a long drive back home.

A day of fun, going up to Lee Canyon to go snowboarding. Finding a way to spend the winter without bundling up inside waiting for it to get warm again. A new hobby, and a new sport that we both enjoy.

Back to ROTC until the summer, with an event known as BEAST. Going out to the base to operate in an environment more realistic to what we may find in our future career. A unique test to see just how far we've grown.

Just before getting shipped off to Field Training, we went on a memorial hike to deliver dog tags to a cemetery. A true weight on the shoulders of what we signed up to do, and a day that we both worked hard to prove ourselves.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip, on our way to London. Starting and ending with a lot of trouble in the airport, delays, route changes, and bags getting lost. We didn't let that bother us too much and spent our time exploring and finding things to do. But the whole reason for the trip was a Taylor Swift concert that was cheaper than anything found in the States. The concert, a trip to Stonehenge, and food that greatly beats anything we have here.

Finally, it's the night of the proposal. Exactly two years after we became partners, we become fiancés. Right before the fireworks, and a nice dinner right after. We forever give ourselves to each other.
