It is about a 20-30 minute drive but this mountain town does not disappoint. Spend the day strolling main street going in and out of art galleries and outdoor apparel stores. This is a great place to grab lunch and enjoy the mountain air!

Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Utah Olympic Park is located in Park City, just 25 miles east of Salt Lake City, Utah. The nearly 400 acre venue houses one of only four sliding tracks in North America, six Nordic ski jumps, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility focused on developing and growing participation in winter sports in the state of Utah and is an official USOC Training Site

The John W. Gallivan Utah Center (“The Gallivan Center”) is a year-round open space and urban area destination in the heart of Downtown Salt Lake City that serves a variety of uses. Home to a lush grass amphitheater, public plazas, a banquet/meeting center, a public ice rink, and art installations, the Gallivan Center serves as the hub for concerts, exhibits, workshops, debates and lectures, public gatherings, festivals, and holiday celebrations.

The daily organ recitals, a century-long tradition, are open to the public. Thirty-minute organ recitals are given each day by Tabernacle and Temple Square organists and guest organists.

Organ recitals occur at 12:00 p.m. in the Tabernacle, Monday through Saturday each week.

Wheeler Historic Farm is a 75-acre working farm and public park with wagon rides, seasonal events, farmers markets, trails, a playground, and more.

An oasis in the heart of Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park, Tracy Aviary is home to over 300 birds from around the world, including many that are endangered or extinct in the wild. Enjoy interactive bird shows, keeper demonstrations, roaming animal encounters, and over a dozen nature play opportunities while you explore 8 acres of themed exhibits and botanical gardens.

Lots to explore in this canyon! $5 fee per car upon exit. Great spot to find a hiking trail, paved boardwalk trail, or a perfect picnic spot.

For those wanting a more strenuous hike, Donut falls takes you through the mountains. Approximately 3 miles round trip!

Go a little higher into the mountain and the temperatures will be cooler to enjoy a round of golf! Play 9 holes, 18 holes, or just enjoy the driving range.
