Travel and Accommodations
Is there a hotel block reserved for guests?
Yes, we have one located at Hampton Inn and Suites Middleburg and one more that is being finalized and should be available shortly.
Is transportation provided to and from the venue?
While we would love to provide transportation, we kindly ask guests to arrange their own travel to and from the venue. Thank you for your understanding!
Where should I park?
For your convenience, there is a free parking lot attached to the side of the building, ensuring a smooth and easy arrival for all of our guests.
What airport is closest to the venue?
Jacksonville International Airport (2400 Yankee Clipper Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32218) is the closest airport, located about 30-40 minutes from both hotels and 50 minutes from the venue. For your convenience, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, taxis, and rental cars are all readily available at the airport.
Attire
What is the dress code?
We would love for all guests to wear formal all-black attire with a subtle touch of dark green and/or gold—just a small pop to add a hint of elegance, without being too overwhelming.
Are there any clothing guests should avoid wearing?
To maintain the elegant nature of our celebration, we ask that guests wear only black attire and refrain from wearing colors (other than the small accent shades of dark green and gold.) We also ask that you refrain from wearing jeans and t-shirts. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed in their best for this special occasion!
Ceremony and Reception
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive as early as 4:30PM and no later than 4:50 PM, so that we can kick off our celebration promptly and enjoy every moment with you!
Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Yes, the ceremony and reception is all at the same location inside the Clay Theatre.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, offering a picturesque setting, while the reception will take place indoors for a cozy and elegant celebration.
Are children welcome?
Although we love kids, to keep things elegant and intimate, this will be an adults-only celebration—except for the couple’s two little stars! We all know that they’re the fun parents but they kindly ask that you make arrangements for your little ones to stay home. Thanks so much for understanding!
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation includes a plus-one, you are welcome to bring a guest. Please note that only those specifically invited with a plus-one may bring a guest. Kindly ensure you RSVP for them to help us make the necessary arrangements.
Food and Drinks
Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
Yes, we will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. However, these options will only be provided for guests who specify their dietary requirements when they RSVP. Please be sure to let us know before the wedding to ensure we can accommodate your needs.
Is it an open bar?
Yes! We’re thrilled to offer an open bar with a variety of drinks, including signature cocktails, beers and spirits. Let’s raise a glass and celebrate in style!

What’s the weather like that time of year?
In August, Green Cove Springs, Florida, tends to be warm and humid, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to the low 90s °F. We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing to stay cool.
