We don’t know when we met. We went to the same middle and high school, so there was a 3-year time period when we could have met. Charlie is best friends with Creighton’s cousin, so we quickly became friends. In high school and early college, family and friends used to joke about us getting married, which neither of us took seriously. During Christmas break of 2019, we both caught feelings for each other at Creighton’s aunt’s Christmas Party. At that party, Charlie told a family friend he was going to marry Creighton one day. We both didn’t initially act on our feelings because Creighton lived 5 hours away in Alabama at the time. Fast forward to spring break of 2020, we ended up spending a lot of time together, thanks to Creighton’s mom- she truly was a top-notch wingwoman. That summer, Charlie ended up going on Creighton’s family beach trip and the rest is history.

Creighton ended up transferring to Clemson, where we made some of our favorite memories. After Charlie graduated, he moved down to Bishopville, SC. Creighton moved in 6 months later, after graduation. During that time we adopted our perfect pup, Presley.

On June 1st, Charlie proposed to Creighton at his Grandparent’s farmhouse. The ring was absolutely perfect- the center stone was in both her Grandmother's and Great-Grandmother’s rings. The moment was perfect!

Now we are enjoying every day in our little house. We are looking forward to getting to grow old with one another and enjoying the perfect little life we are building together.
