Important Stuff to Know

If you are staying overnight at Jimbo's or plan on joining us for the Bonfire(s), here are some things you should know!

FOOD & DRINK

• Jimbo's will be providing all food and drink for all guests throughout the entire weekend. Food and drink will not be available for purchase on site. Food and drinks, including an open bar, will be provided during the cocktail hour, reception, and both bonfires. A light lunch will be provided on Saturday around 12:30pm for guests on site. Breakfast is provided on both Saturday and Sunday morning for guests who stayed the previous night.

Jimbo's alcohol policy prohibits guests from walking around the grounds with visible alcohol containers during times when the Open Bar is not in service. You may have coolers and alcohol in your cabin. If you plan on drinking your own alcohol outside your cabin, please use a Koozie, Yeti, Stanley, etc.

There are no grills on site, and portable grills are/are not allowed (need to find out).

The cabins do not contain mini-fridges or coffee machines. Shared mini-fridges are available in some common areas. There are no ice machines on site.

There is a Stewart's right off of Exit 25 approximately 5 miles from Jimbo's if you need ice or other supplies.

WHAT TO BRING/ STUFF TO KNOW

For the Bonfire (s): Jimbo's has some Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire, but there probably will not be enough for everyone, especially on Saturday night. Also, it's September in the Adirondacks, so it may get a little chilly at night! So if you plan on attending the bonfire(s), please bring:

A camp chair/bag chair

A blanket, jacket or sweatshirt

• Overnight Guests: Since the venue is not your traditional hotel, it does not have some of the amenities you may be accustomed to, like an ice machine, vending machine, mini fridge, sample sized toiletries, safe, or hair dryer.

Here are a few things you might want to bring with you to make your stay more enjoyable:

· Hair Dryer

• Soap, shampoo, lotion etc.

· Umbrella or raingear (hopefully you won’t need it, but better safe than sorry!)

· Blanket or warm fleece/sweatshirt (it is the Adirondacks and can definitely get chilly)

· Cooler – there are no ice machines and only a few, shared mini-fridges in common areas, so if you are bringing any drinks or snacks that need refrigeration, it is recommended that you bring a personal cooler.

OTHER STUFF TO KNOW:

• You DO NOT need to bring sheets, blankets or bath towels, as these are provided by Jimbo's.

• There are NO LOCKS on the cabin doors.

• Wi-fi/Internet could be limited due to our mountain location

• Jimbo's imposes a midnight noise curfew, meaning no loud music or outdoor shenanigans after midnight. After-hours shenanigans in the cabin common areas is allowed, and expected. 😊
