Cristian and I, Abigail, met at a fall party in October of 2021. Our families instantly became friends, and an unbreakable bond was created. It was two years later when Cristian, having asked for my father's permission, took the chance and asked me out to coffee and brunch after Mass. The months that followed were the best we had ever had. In February, by a lake under an orange sunset sky, he got down on one knee and asked me the question that would forever change our lives: "Will you marry me?" My "yes" could not have been more wholehearted. As our wedding day approaches, we thank God every day for bringing our lives together and guiding us as we walk along together on this path of life. This is only the beginning, the adventures are yet to come.
