Where the wedding festivities are taking place! The oldest member of the Historic Hotels of America, Hotel El Convento was built in 1646 as a Carmelite convent. After serving various purposes over the centuries, the building was meticulously restored in the 1960s and transformed into the luxurious boutique hotel it is today.
