Cristina and Sean first met on the internet, the exact last place you would want your child to meet someone who they would go on to spend the rest of their life with. It was 2021, Covid laws were still in place, what else were they to do?!

Cristina and Sean enjoyed their first date at the Nightshift Brewing in Everett, MA, a great halfway point for the two. It was mid-date that Sean had to excuse himself for a phone call – that offer on the house that he put in five hours prior? Accepted! Cristina was sold…or at least in the moment. After non-stop conversation, the two found themselves at Zeke’s Pub down the road. Never heard of it? Neither had they. Worth going again? Absolutely not. Was it a terrific cap to the last first date of their lives? 100%.

Ask their friends “what are Cristina and Sean doing this weekend?” and there’s a great chance they’ll respond with “probably hiking or something,” and they would be correct! When the two met, Cristina was halfway through her 48 4000’ mountains in New Hampshire, which meant plenty of car rides, hours of singing along and introducing new music, playing silly games, and fried pickles on the way home of course. Little did Cristina know, she would wind up hiking nearly all of those mountains again since Sean was hooked not just on her!

In their time since, the two have expanded beyond the New Hampshire sites, exploring new places, being each other’s biggest advocate and always taste testing Old Fashions. From San Diego to Acadia National Park, and many day trips and weekends away in between, their appreciation of one another grew and their friends ability to sneak one of them away for an evening diminished. They’ve become more than just one another’s best friend.

Cristina and Sean share a yearning for pushing themselves, experiencing new things, and of course, their puppy Lola! When the three of them are not at a park, on a mountain, or playing tug of war, you can find Lola snuggled in between on the couch as Sean masters Portuguese via Duo Lingo and Cristina studying. The trio currently reside in the Adams Village neighborhood of Dorchester, MA. You guessed it – the same house that interrupted their first date.
