cristina had just returned from her years traveling in new zealand working as a tour guide at hobbiton in matamata, woofing at an eco-retreat in raglan, harvesting potatoes on a potato farm in ashburten, working at a hostel in wanaka, and finishing 2 years in nz waitressing in a cafe and bistro back in raglan. she returned home and helped her family immensely caring for her grandmother in her final months.
