While this is a wedding, you shouldn't expect to see everyone in suits and ties. Afterall, look who we are. Dress classy with comfort. You can expect to see the groom in jeans! *Note* The wedding ceremony is being held outdoors! Keep that in mind, and keep the weather in mind. October can be warm, or cold. Dress accordingly. The reception will be indoors. Please do NOT wear white.

Yes - BUT - we will ask everyone to not be taking photos during the actual ceremony. Please leave that part to the photographers. We will post those pictures and you can save them all you want. However, we will have something cool at the reception that we will want you to use your phone cameras for! You won't want to be left out!

When you enter into the Cedar Lakes Park, there will be some wedding signs. The chapel sits in the middle of the park right beside the big lake. There are a few different parking options. 1. Upon entering, as you drive through. There is a sign for JACKSON HALL. Here you will see a parking lot. This is your best option as this is also the reception hall. Park and walk to the chapel (follow signs). 2. If you circle the lake, there is also parking in the back. There is a big building with parking. This is the dining hall (but we will not be inside that hall) and it has a parking area. 3. There are many places you can park. No matter which area you park in, you will have to walk over to the chapel.

Yes. There is lodging at Cedar Lakes, but you will need to plan ahead to reserve these lodge rooms. The rooms are $94+ tax, per night. Call 304-372-7860 to reserve. There are also a few nearby hotel/motels at the main Ripley exit, but you may need a driver or Uber there. We encourage everyone to be safe, do not drink and drive...find a ride!

Of course! We will have food and drinks for our guests to enjoy after the ceremony.

Due to the wedding ceremony being outside, we will keep tabs on the rain, as should you. If the weather is predicted to be stormy or unsafe...we will move the ceremony into the reception hall. IF just a drizzle, we will likely move forward outside. Use your best judgement, and come prepared.

Yes! We will be providing some alcohol. There will be a few different types of beer/wine coolers. If you prefer to bring your own....feel free. *No Kegs allowed*

Our colors are red, white, and black.

If they are family and friends of course. We want everyone to be able to help us celebrate. We just ask that their parents are prepared to keep tabs on them. So if you plan to party, hire a babysitter!
