Crystal and Dawson met at Tennessee Tech in the Fall of 2017 at the Wesley Foundation. They met through mutual friends and kept growing together (or sideways, if you know you know) from there. Throughout college they got to have so many experiences that allowed them to grow as individuals and together.

Fun fact: they just decided they were dating one day and really have no idea what the date was, so they made up an anniversary.

Similar to how they just began dating one day, their relationship has always been one that goes with the flow. Their flexibility in life while also making time for the important things and for each other has allowed them to blossom into the couple they are today.

Some of their favorite activities include playing board/card games, enjoying the outdoors, and laughing at trash reality tv. Crystal and Dawson are good at finding the simple things in life enjoyable, which allows for the larger things to become that much more special to them. They have supported each other through the ups and downs that life has brought them and have always pushed each other to grow and succeed. While they can’t really pinpoint a single favorite memory, some of their highlights include playing disc golf in the snow, Crystal taking Dawson on his first real road trip, and experiencing The Eras Tour together.

Dawson proposed to Crystal in August of 2023 at Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park. Unknowingly, Crystal kept repeatedly trying to leave the viewpoint to continue on with their hike, while Dawson was stalling her because he had stashed the ring in a Ziploc baggie and was struggling to get it out. Of course she said yes. They are so excited for this next chapter in their story and look forward to continuing to enjoy life together to its fullest.
