Our story starts just as any great love story - on a dating app! I (Crystal) had been on many first dates over the span of about 2 years and happened to stumble upon Sam's profile one day. With this particular dating app (Bumble), the girl has to make the first move, so I swiped in hopes to make a match. After matching and chatting more, Sam was adamant that he needed to take me out on a date, as soon as possible. Funny enough, the day and time Sam suggested was the also same day and time that I had already agreed to go on a different first date with someone else. Ultimately, I'll admit that I played a bit hard to get until finally giving in to meeting Sam for dinner, which of course, had to be Mexican food!

From that day forward, we were inseparable and things moved quickly because of how confident we both were that the other was the one for them. After just 3 months of dating, Sam got down on one knee and PROPOSED!!! In a room full of tealight candles scattered amongst the floor, handwritten notes, and "Big, Big Plans" by Chris Lane playing in the background...Without any doubt in my mind, I agreed. (If you ask Sam, he will tell you that I took way too long to respond! LOL) Some ask me if I was surprised that Sam proposed when he did and the answer is no. I was so incredibly confident that I knew it was the right decision...also, Sam is pretty bad at keeping secrets so it was all over his face that day that something was coming!

Some may say our love story happened (too) quickly but our simple response to that is "when you know, you know".
