What time will the ceremony begin?

Ceremony starts PROMPTLY at 5PM. Please arrive at 4:30 pm to allow time for parking and making your way up to the venue.

What time will the reception end?

10PM promptly. Per Huntington Beach rules, last call will be at 9:30pm.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Weather in Huntington Beach should peak on the low 70s and may dip into the mid 60s by night’s end.

What is the dress attire?

Semi-formal. It is not a black tie event, but it's not casual. Even though the venue is at the Huntington Beach Equestrian Center, the venue is not in an actual barn but rather a romantic outdoor setting nearby and far away from the smell of the horses! Men should wear a full suit & tie and women should wear a dress or pantsuit. No Jeans or Khakis! Oh, and bring your dancin' shoes!

How do I get from the hotel in Huntington Beach to the Venue

Uber/Lyft is your best option if you are staying in downtown Huntington Beach or Fountain Valley. The hotel is only a 10 min drive from the venue site.

Where can I park?

There is on-site parking. All passengers will be dropped off at the Venue site entrance while the drivers will be directed towards the parking lot. Then, you will be shuttled by golf cart to the entrance. There are a few guests that have VIP parking at the site entrance. Those guests will be directly notified if a spot is reserved for them.

Do I need to bring cash with me?

Our bartender would appreciate any tips our guests provide them. However, guests have no other use for cash.

Are there stairs at the venue?

No, there are no stairs.

There aren't a lot of items on the registry? What should we give?

$$$ We'd much prefer cash/money as gifts to pay for an all-inclusive resort honeymoon and anything else we'd need! But we did put a few items on the registry if anyone would prefer non-cash gifts. If leaving a check, you can make it out to either Robert Serianu or Crystal Crutcher or you can leave straight cash. There will be a gift card box to protect your gifts.

May I bring my kids?

No. No small children (under 13) are allowed at the ceremony or reception. No exceptions. If someone has not been formally invited, they may not show up and there will be no place available for them. (There may be a few teenage aged guests allowed)

May i touch or engage with any horses at the venue?

ABSOLTELY NOT!!! While our venue site is at the Huntington Beach Equestrian Center, no one may interact with any of the horses on the grounds. Our ceremony and reception are away from the stables and if you are caught interacting with equine, you may be asked to kindly leave the premises.

I smoke cigarettes; is there somewhere for me to smoke?

Yes, there will be a designated area away from the reception for those that wish to partake in smoking.

What are things we can do in Huntington Beach?

Check out the "things to do section," but some fun things include downtown Huntington Beach & Pier, Sunset Beach (and paddle boarding), Newport Beach (whale watching), and of course the theme parks.

Why don't I have a food choice on the invitation?

Dinner will be provided in a formal buffet setting. You will have various options to choose from. If you have any special dietary needs or allergies, let us know via your RSVP card and accommodations can be made.

Which airport should I fly into? LAX?

We recommend avoiding LAX if possible. John Wayne (SNA) and Long Beach (LGB) are closer and quicker to get in and out of. John Wayne is about 10 min away from the hotel and Long Beach is 20. LAX, on the other hand, is likely 1 hour away.

Do you have a hotel bloc for guests?

Absolutely! We have a Wedding Bloc at the Ayres Hotel, Fountain Valley It is about a 10 minute drive from the venue. The hotel offers free parking, free WiFi, and free full hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, etc). Do note: The bloc expires on August 28th! Please see the "Travel" section for full details

Is this a religious wedding?

No. It's a largely non-denominational wedding. We will be performing a few Jewish marriage traditions, like having a Hoopah (a special covering for the arch during ceremony), breaking the glass (signaling we're married) and dancing the celebratory Jewish dance, the Hora. There will be no rabbi or priest officiating the wedding.
