It all started in 2011, Crystal’s freshman year and Juan’s sophomore year at Rains High School. Crystal knew Juan was the strongest and most handsome guy she’d seen. She had came up with an excuse to call him. She grabbed the trusty Yellow Book Pages and searched for Mendez, and dialed the number on the corded landline phone. Little did she know, that would be her new last name years to come. With excitement, she practiced her line as the phone rang. One of his brothers picked up, “hello?”
“Hi, is Juan there?”, she asked nervously.
The phone was then answered with a confused voice.
“Hi this is Crystal, I was wondering if you knew what time Powerlifting pictures will be at?”
