We recommend arriving by 5:30 PM at the latest, but please feel free to show up as early as 5:15 PM to allow for extra time to find parking and seating. Due to time constraints, the ceremony will have a strict start time of 6:00 PM.

As you approach the Grand Island Mansion, there is a driveway that will lead you to two separate parking lots in the back of the venue (the first is paved, the second is grass). In the case that there is no parking on both sides, there is additional parking located in the front of the Mansion by the levee.

Both! The ceremony will be outdoors at the Pillars in the front of the Mansion, and the reception will be held in the Marquee Tent on the back of the property. In the case of inclement weather, we will have the ceremony indoors also.

Due to the historic nature of the property, there are some restrictions for wheelchair users. The ceremony site is accessed by a set of stairs. The reception site has an elevator that allows for wheelchair access.

Rideshare options are available, but limited when leaving the venue after the event. If you are considering using rideshare, please schedule your pickup in advance to avoid long wait times for a driver.

Yes, there will be an open bar from approximately 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. We will be serving beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that hard alcohol is prohibited by the venue.

During the cocktail hour, a variety of hors d'oeuvres will be served. Dinner will be buffet style and it will include oven roasted prime rib and chimichurri chicken. There will be two salads available and a variety of side dishes. In addition to wedding cake, fresh fruit and berries with chocolate ganache and chantilly dip will be served for dessert.

Please inform us when you RSVP so that we can be sure to accommodate you. In addition to having access to the buffet, the venue will prepare separate plates for those who have dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Our wedding will be reserved for adults only. Therefore, we cannot accommodate any additional guests other than those listed on your invitation.

Please dress in formal wear or black tie attire. For women, this includes floor length gowns or pantsuits, in any color except all shades of white, ivory, cream, champagne, etc. For men, this includes suits and tuxedos.

The event strictly ends at 11:00 PM. There will be no after party, as we will be staying overnight in the mansion with our wedding party.
