On the evening of August 10th, 2018 at a former restaurant in West Fargo. Crystal was out to dinner celebrating a friend’s birthday, while Travis was there for a business meeting. As the evening proceeded Travis couldn’t help but notice Crystal and knew he must do something, without interrupting the large group of course!

So, Travis decided to scribble a simple lighthearted note and handed it to his waitress with the request (and bribe), to deliver the note to Crystal, after he left.

The waitress did in fact give the note to Crystal which read:

“Hi, If you get this that means I was able to get our waitress to give you this note. I did not want to bother you with a stupid pick-up line while you were at a b-day party. Ice cream date?”

Crystal held on to the note and reached out to Travis the next morning. That evening Crystal and Travis went on their first date! ❤️❤️❤️
