Crystalin and Aaron’s love story began at San Jose State. They had a lot of mutual friends, and a pregame and a concert brought them together under the same roof. You could say the signs that they’d fall hard were there that night—Crystalin saw Aaron and thought to herself, “What a cutie pie!” then literally tripped over an XBOX wire in front of him. But Aaron caught himself thinking, “What if I was the one to catch her?”

After that night, Crystalin and Aaron were interested in each other but were both waiting for the right time to make their moves. Crystalin learned where some of Aaron’s classes were and would just so happen to be in the right place at the right time to run into him. Aaron couldn’t get that cute little stumble out of his head and was plotting a way to get Crystalin’s number. They attended another concert together where Aaron finally saw his opportunity—he asked Crystalin to take a picture together, then asked for her number to send it to her. Smooooth. One text led to another and soon they were talking daily. Crystalin knew a good guy when she saw one and didn’t want to miss her chance. She asked Aaron on a date to get brunch, and from that day on, they were end game.

Crystalin and Aaron have spent the last decade growing in life and love together. 10 years after they first met, Aaron finally asked the four words Crystalin was patiently waiting for. With the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, Aaron proposed to Crystalin on August 20th, 2023 with their family and friends there to celebrate. From singing their hearts out at countless more music festivals, to eating their way around the Bay Area, to moving in together, and traveling all around the world, they’ve created memories that they’ll cherish forever and are so excited to make new ones as husband and wife!
