Believe it or not Jord and I were set up by two different people on the same day, they actually sent me the same photo of him and my first reaction was hubba hubba!!! He is the sweetest most loving caring man with the biggest heart I've ever met. Our first date was at Carderos on the water in Vancouver and I think we both knew after 3 hours together that "this is it" I believe he texted Leanne (who set us up) and said " I just met my wife." Over the past almost 3 years we have been through it all, we lived in a two bedroom condo with his parents, we bought a house, he survived Christmas with my family (he's Jewish) and we have built an incredible bond that is unbreakable by anything. Sometimes I just run up and hug him for no reason because I just think we are so lucky to have found each other in this crazy world we live in. As for our engagement story....one day while I was at work Jord was blowing up my phone more than normal, face timing me and texting me telling me how emotional he was and that he just needed to be held. I thought it was a bit odd, I mean he's normally emotional, but this a little more aggressive than normal. He found out I had a hair appointment that night and asked if I could cancel to just come home and have pizza and watch movies with him. We normally do this once a week and its our favorite night of the week with each other. So I proceeded to cancel my hair appointment and go home and wait for him, he showed up with 3 large pizzas (for the two of us lol) and we got all snuggled in and started to chow down. I never got up to get seconds, which I normally do, so he asked me if I was getting up to get more and I replied "no?" He then got a bit weird and said he was cold and needed a sweater, so he went upstairs and came back down hood on and everything with it fully zipped up hands in pockets. He sat down on the couch next to me and just as I took two huge bites of pizza I look to my right and there he is down on one knee, ring in hand, he froze... all he said was "Cyd" My first reaction was " are you seriously doing this right now?" (with a mouth full of pizza) I guess the rest is history, it was such a perfect night for us and I wouldn't of had it any other way. It was exactly us and I couldn't of asked for more :)
