We met on October 26th, 2018, at a party in Saskatoon. The night was a bit of a blur for the both of us, but this is a short story of what we can remember:

- They ended up bumping into each other after Logan shoved one of his friends (Colton) into Cyd's friend group on the dance floor. This was Logan's attempt at being Colton's wingman.

- Cyd thought Logan was a super handsome looking guy, and figured she might have a chance, considering Logan was wearing Dakota work boots, baggy farmer jeans, and a red plaid shirt with the sleeves cut off

- Cyd and Logan then danced for a bit and ended up going to a corner of the dance floor to get to know each other better

- Cyd's drink tickets ran dry, so Logan picked Cyd up and carried her across the dance floor to the ticket booth

- They parted ways for the evening and thankfully Logan remembered that they needed to exchange numbers

- We ended up going for brunch the next day and the rest is history

She moved out to the big city of Hodgeville to be with him, and they have a house in town, close to his family farm.

She is working with a subcontractor at a mine site on shift work, and he is farming away close to town, constantly bringing on new projects to expand the farm and bring forward new opportunities with each project he takes on. Life is tough when we are apart for at least two weeks at a time, but it just means that our time together is precious.

We are super committed to each other and our future together. Cannot wait to see where our lives take us!
