Timing really is everything. They both attended the same university, walked the same paths, and spent years just barely missing each other. It wasn’t until 2023 that their worlds finally collided—with one simple message that turned into something extraordinary.

Their first date was on December 8th at Hero’s in Riverside. The chemistry was instant. The conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter never stopped, and there was a sense of familiarity neither of them could explain. She says it felt like a rom-com. He jokes that he almost didn’t show up because her street was so dark he thought he might get jumped. (He’s still talking about it.)

From that night on, they were inseparable. A week later, he asked her to be his girlfriend, knowing without a doubt that she was someone special. Friends quickly noticed how in sync they were—goofy, thoughtful, and deeply connected in a way that felt meant to be.

He brings out the most authentic version of her. She makes him feel grounded and understood in ways he’d never experienced before. Their relationship is filled with laughter, mutual respect, and a deep sense of “home.”

When it came time to propose, he planned a getaway to Colorado, envisioning a snowy, scenic moment she’d never forget. They hiked through the stunning trails of Rocky Mountain National Park to reach a frozen alpine lake. Despite her asthma and the thin mountain air, she pushed through—determined and windblown. And there, surrounded by snowflakes and mountains, he got down on one knee. She said yes. (And then caught her breath.)

Now, they're stepping into the next chapter of their lives—full of love, laughter, and gratitude for the path that led them here. They can’t wait to celebrate this new beginning with all the people who have supported them along the way.
