Santa Barbara downtown is compact and very walkable. State St is the main entertainment street with restaurants, bars, coffee, and shopping. Being close to State St. is convenient, however staying right on State St. can be noisy due to the vibrant night life. Most of the hotels we have recommended are a within walking distance of the ocean and State St. but in a quieter area.

The ceremony venue (Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunken Gardens) and dinner reception (Gala restaurant) are one block off State St. and a 20 minute walk to the Eagle Inn, Harbor View Inn, Courtyard Santa Barbara Downtown, and Riviera Beach House. The Steward is a 15 minute drive away. There are many other great hotels and airbnbs in the area, given how easy it is to get around please stay wherever is best for you.
