Our Wedding

Sometimes we set out in search of one thing, only to find something far more extraordinary. We make our plans, but God, in His wisdom, often shows us a path we never could have imagined. Justin and Cynthia’s journey began on April 16th, 2023, at church. Those around them could see what they hadn’t yet recognized, and soon, family and friends started to encourage them to explore the possibility of something more. On January 14th, 2024, after a Sunday service, Justin and Cynthia met for lunch with friends. That moment marked the beginning of an unexpected adventure. Despite not being a coffee lover, Justin found himself visiting Cynthia at the coffee shop where she worked, eager to spend time with her. After each shift, they’d linger together, talking for hours about everything and nothing. Those conversations planted a seed of something deeper—perhaps love, or at the very least, the possibility of it. Both were cautious, wanting to understand if this was something worth cherishing. In the space between dates and prayers, they realized they couldn’t imagine life apart. The story of the Bible begins with a wedding in a garden, and it culminates in a garden. On August 10th, 2024, in the midst of beauty in a Miami garden, Justin asked Cynthia to be his forever and his always. Now, their adventure as a new family begins on May 17th as they set to discover what other great wonders God has in store for them.
