Do you believe in DESTINY? Cyril and Aletha met when they were just little children.They were neighbors, and their parents knew each other through working at the same company. Although in different grade levels, they also went to the same school in St. Paul’s School.But they were just friends. When Aletha went to school at UP High school, she had to move to Iloilo City during the school year so they would only meet occasionally in the neighborhood during the summer. College was almost the same. Their roads did not cross often.No one thought this was a love story waiting to happen. After College, Cyril was already working in Manila while Aletha was a nurse in the District hospital.It was then, when a neighborhood Christmas party happened, that their love story started. Cyril went home for Christmas vacation and was invited to the neighborhood Christmas party which Aletha was spearheading.Arleth (a friend of Aletha) introduced the two again and that was when the attraction started. After that, it was months of romantic long distance phone calls between Cyril and Aletha. Can you imagine how much that would have cost?&nbsp;However, you cannot ever put a price on love. Destiny worked its way in.In 1998, they were now boyfriend and girlfriend and Aletha was already processing her papers to work in the US as a nurse. On August 10, 2001, in front of a Pasay City Judge with only 1 witness (the Judge’s secretary), Cyril and Aletha celebrated their love with a secret wedding.After that, Aletha left for the US. A year after, Cyril traveled to the US to be with Aletha.They went home in 2008 and had a Church Wedding at Iloilo City on October 17, 2008. Now,&nbsp;after 25 years of pure love and bliss, they are celebrating years and years of a happy marriage and 2 wonderful children. Their days are full of joy in their picturesque, beautiful home in Nevada,their summers full of happy camping trips and tours abroad,their years full of fulfilled dreams and happy ever afters. Their love story is destiny etched through long distance phone calls.
