It all began in college in Illinois, where fate decided to cross their paths. Fawaz first noticed Teonna walking to class — she caught his eye not only on campus but also from a mutual group chat. Gathering up his courage, he introduced himself, and although Teonna responded shyly, their story was already beginning.

Not long after, Fawaz texted Teonna to hang out. She agreed and invited him to meet her cousin and roommate. The three spent the night laughing, sharing stories, and realizing how much they had in common. From that moment, Fawaz and Teonna became inseparable friends. While Fawaz hoped for something more, Teonna was focused on her studies and turned down the idea of a relationship — though she secretly told her cousin she could see herself marrying him someday, just not yet.

As time went on, their bond deepened. On Fawaz’s birthday, he wished that Teonna would finally give him a chance — and just a week later, she did. Not long after, before she returned to Texas, Fawaz officially asked her to be his girlfriend.

Since then, their love has only grown stronger. Fawaz eventually relocated to Texas, where they built a life filled with laughter, adventures, and love — including welcoming their sweet son and their beloved dog.
