Ritchie and Daija first met during their Pioneer Service School on June 6, 2022 on Zoom. Daija invited Ritchie and his friends to play volleyball at Mahiko Park, and from there they all became friends.

In January the following year, Ritchie and Daija began their courtship at Chili’s surrounded by their friends, while also sharing a molten lava cake.

They attended assemblies, pioneer meetings, and conventions together. They went out preaching the good news of the kingdom together with friends and family. And anytime one had a part during the Apply Yourself to the Field Ministry, the other would be present to show their support.

Ritchie proposed to Daija on February 25th at Mokuleia Beach while being cheered on by close family and friends.

They are excited to plan out the rest of their lives together while serving Jehovah side by side.
