Our Wedding

Our story begins as any great one should:&nbsp;Food.&nbsp;Daisy had&nbsp;been a pastry&nbsp;chef for years, creating gorgeous, sweet and&nbsp;unique indulgences.&nbsp;Since learning to make rustic, healthy food from his mother Warren had been experimenting with new cooking techniques as a hobby during and after college. A mutual friend who&nbsp;was aware of both of our passion for creating and eating food&nbsp;thought we would make a great pair and decided to set us up. When Daisy heard Warren had been making lasagna from scratch the night they met she replied with "Can I&nbsp;marry him now?". Several years and many meals later her musing&nbsp;&nbsp;has become a reality!

How We Met

This story is many months in the making. Daisy loves surprises, but is also very clever, so it makes surprising her with something big very difficult. Knowing this Warren began putting surprises in the calendar regularly in the winter and&nbsp;spring of 2017 to keep her off his trail. During all this,&nbsp;Warren was working on the bigger picture. Utilizing&nbsp;a spot on his white board at work, he slowly built an itinerary for the perfect proposal:&nbsp;a trip to Sonoma wine country in northern California.&nbsp;During the planning Warren also went ring shopping with one of Daisy's closest friends, Silvia, with the two of them picking a beautiful ring. The quick weekend trips and surprises continued and Warren blocked off a long weekend in late July without Daisy suspecting a thing.&nbsp;

The place Warren had chosen for the proposal was a winery he'd been to once before with his parents, called VML. After beginning a tasting, they settled in some quiet, isolated chairs along the river and that's where Warren asked the question.&nbsp;Daisy was taken completely by surprise!&nbsp;

The proposal was on Friday, July 21st, 2017, and we look forward to&nbsp;welcoming&nbsp;you to celebrate our one year engagement anniversary, as well as our wedding with us!

There's plenty of parking at the orchard, so feel free to drive there. If you would rather not drive to the wedding and are staying in the area there are Ubers available to take you to and from the wedding.

County Line Orchard 

If you choose to stay in the area we have&nbsp;reserved&nbsp;a block of rooms at a discounted rate, Denise at The Holiday Inn Express will help you once you mention that you are staying with the Lopez/Savich party.&nbsp;The hotel is only a 12 minute drive to the orchard which will serve as both the ceremony site and the reception venue!
