Mayra had moved to Texas during Christmas break of December 2020-mid pandemic. After living in Texas for a few months, Mayra’s uncle Christian (aka Twin) had posted a picture of Mayra on his Snapchat story. Dakota had swiped up and asked Christian who that was….little did he know it would be his future wife.

Dakota and Christian had been in the same frat at Sam together. Christian had told Mayra that Dakota was a good guy and she should give him a chance. So Dakota had then added Mayra on Snapchat, but never messaged her. Dakota would watch every story religiously, but not one single peep.

After about three weeks, Mayra had enough of Dakota’s cyberstalking and told Chris that Dakota’s free trial was almost up. Finally, a ping from Mayra’s phone showed a notification from Dakota on Snapchat. He had messaged her a silly question about a selfie she had posted of herself.

After a few snaps back and forth, Dakota had asked Mayra out to go see a movie. Now here we are… 3 years later.
