It was a warm summer day when Dakota decided to slide into Justin’s inbox on Facebook with a simple hello. After exchanging a few words and then numbers, Justin and Dakota agreed to get brunch in Atlanta. After driving 1.5 hours to Atlanta, Dakota waited 3 hours for Justin to arrive for their date in September of 2019.

( Well, according to Justin, Dakota did wait but, not 3 hours as she makes it seems.)

After that day, Justin and Dakota became inseparable. Driving back and forth to see one another on the weekends became their routine. Finally, Charleston, SC, became home to both Justin and Dakota in May 2020. Quarantined together, Dakota and Justin began to deeper learn about one another. Over the years, their love continued to flourish. It was on a trip to Barbados in 2024, when Justin finally put a ring on it!
