We met on an app. His first message? “Hey Sexyy 😈😈😈” (yes, really). One sarcastic reply led to hours of late-night talking, a Snapchat add, and something real neither of us expected. It wasn’t love at first sight but it was the start of us.

January 7th 2023

We met for the first time after weeks of late-night talks. One of us flew across the country, the other nervously waited. Her family thought it was a murder setup, but it turned out to be the start of something real, familiar, and meant to be.

July 15th 2023

He wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend the day they met. She said, “Not on the first day.” So he waited exactly 24 hours on the dot to ask proving patience is definitely a love language (or maybe just stubbornness). Either way, She said yes.

July 16th 2023

She was supposed to fly home, but her flight got delayed twice. He joked it was fate giving us extra time. Honestly? Neither of us minded. Those unexpected hours turned into more laughs, talks, and the feeling that maybe we weren’t done yet.

August 1st 2023

He flew to Georgia during Thanksgiving to meet her whole family for the first time. No pressure, right? Luckily he was able to prove to them that he loved her, and she loved him. 

November 17th 2023

By the end of the trip, he was helping her pack to move up to NY. Talk about a Thanksgiving to remember. They drove 17 hours straight. From the warm air of Georgia to the freezing temperatures of New York.

She wasn’t built for cold air, and he knew it. somehow, she convinced him to leave everything behind and move back to Georgia with her. No job, no plan, just trust, love, and a shared hatred of freezing wind.

We finally moved into our first place—ours. No roommates, no temporary stops. Just us (plus all the pets), too much takeout, and the start of building a home that was ours.

Our Story

The Maid of Dishonor is not here for tradition, she’s here for vengeance. As the bride’s sister and lifelong partner-in-mischief, she has been personally selected to wield sarcasm and sass like a weapon. While others are fluffing centerpieces and adjusting veils, she’ll be busy glaring down judgmental guests, shutting down unsolicited opinions, and reminding everyone exactly whose day it is.

Makenzie 

Don’t be fooled by her age — Makayla is the youngest Sister with the energy of someone who’s been running this family for years. As Maid of Honor, she’s the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes, making sure everything goes smoothly without anyone realizing she’s the reason it does.

The Best Man is the groom’s human duct tape — holding everything together with humor, loyalty, and a flask tucked somewhere formal. He’s here to wrangle groomsmen, make sure the rings make it to the altar, and remind the groom not to say anything weird into the microphone.

Devin

The Worst Man is not here to help things go smoothly. He is here for moral support and minor chaos. He’s the groom’s lifelong bad decision buddy, master of the inappropriate toast, and a menace in dress shoes. If something goes off-script, assume he’s behind it — and it was probably hilarious.

Roman 

The Officiant is not a professional—he’s a brave soul who got ordained specifically for this wedding. Known affectionately as Dr. P (because nothing says true friendship like a shared addiction to Dr. Pepper), he’s here to mix laughter with a little sentiment and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. Equal parts hype man and spiritual guide, Dr. P’s main goal is to make sure the ceremony is unforgettable (for the better) and hilarious

There are also plenty of nearby towns with great places to stay, including Pine Mountain, LaGrange, and Columbus. You’ll find lots of hotels, cozy Airbnbs, and cute local spots perfect for a comfortable stay in any price range.
