Our Story

How It All Started

It all starts with a mutual friend asking the both of us if we were single and if she could give Dallas' number to Devin. She said she thought we would pair perfectly together. Dallas told her she could give her number to Devin. So the mutual friend's mom and her gave Devin Dallas' number. Time went by and Dallas did not hear anything from Devin. The next day our mutual friend asked Dallas if Devin ever texted her and she told her no. The mutual friend proceeded to text her mom which led to her mom texting Devin. Turns out Devin was given the wrong number. On December 15, 2023 Dallas got her first text from Devin and they proceeded to make their first date.

Our First Date

After having conversations for a couple of days, Dallas and Devin made their first date become reality. On December 19, 2023 they met for the first time in person. The two ate at a Mexican restaurant called El Potro and then Devin took Dallas to World Wide Race Way to see Christmas lights.

We jump ahead to Christmas Eve. The two watched Christmas movies, ate Chinese (because it was the only thing opened), and last but not least made their relationship official.

Devin got all dressed up as well and the both of them set off to St. Louis to go to Union Station. They ate at this fancy restaurant called Landrys Seafood House, then went on The St. Louis Wheel.

Let's proceed into our first valentines date together. Dallas' friends from work made this date so special! They took her shopping and then did her hair and make-up to look all fancy for this date. We move on to the big holiday, Easter! At this point, they were going back and forth from her church and his church. So the two got to celebrate with both church families! Dallas loves getting to worship our risen king with Devin every weekend.

Speaking of worshipping our Lord, we jump to serving in church together. In June 2024, They got to serve at his church's kid's camp called Adventure Camp. Dallas went around asking kids if they knew their memory verses, and Devin ran sound for the week. Then, in July 2024, they served at Dallas' church's kid's camp called Summer Jam. Devin ran lights for the week while Dallas lead worship for the kids.

He told Dallas "I spoiled the element of surprise, but I know where I am going to propose." As they walked around the watershed, Devin scoped out the perfect spot. They walked onto the marsh walk, and as soon as they got out onto the water, Devin got down on one knee and proposed! Of course Dallas said yes, that's why there is this nice little website now! The two are so excited they got to share their story with you! They can't wait for the day they get to marry their best friend!
