Dallin and I were set up by our mutual friend Calvin. We went on Our First date on July 24th, 2024. I had broken my foot and was walking around in a boot, so high adventure was out of the question.

For our first date we got Thai food and watched the sunset. We spent a large portion of the night talking about all the don't on a first date.

Let it be know that I am not the most patient person in the world. I enjoyed Dallin and I's first date so much. I was fairly annoyed that he had such a busy schedule and that we wouldn't be able to go out again for what felt like forever. I did however drop lunch off for him the Friday before our next date. I had planned on eating with him but got to nervous to ask to stay. So I give him a hug, some food, and then left.

The same day as our third date, my brother flew in from Georgia to celebrate my Mum's birthday. At this point, Dallin had already come to a family meal with my sister, Dad, and Cousin Elaina and Jon (Her Husband.. I set them up. )

I wanted my brother the have a chance to meet Dallin. I never really introduced boys I was going out with to my family, but Dallin was different. I knew it would be the only chance for him to meet my brother for a while. So with some encouragement from my Dad, I invited Dallin to another Family meal. This one with my oldest brother, Dad, Elaina and Jon.

I was not surprised in the slightest by the relentless teasing that took place that night. My brother even told Dallin "I'll be back in 6 months. Either for a wedding or a butt Kicking". By some miracle that did not scare this man away.

After Dinner, Dallin invited me to play some games with him and some of his family. Before I left for the evening he asked me to be his girlfriend. I of course said yes and shyly asked him if that meant I could tell people he was my boyfriend. He said yep! Before I even got home I had a text from Calvin saying he had heard the news and that he was happy for us.
