Alex and Dalton met the modern way by swiping right on a dating app, Hinge, in 2021. After a few weeks getting to know each other, the two met for their very first date at Old Chicago. The two hit it off immediately and ended up spending three hours at Old Chicago. After the first date, both Alex and Dalton deleted the dating app.

A few of Alex and Daltons favorite things to do together are go to see movies, play card games with Daltons parents, spend time with Alexs family at her parents pool, try different restaurants, go to Royals game, practicing their cooking skills together, play with their puppies and spend time with friends and taking road trips to Colorado.

Dalton proposed to Alex on Saturday July 27th, 2023 at a park. The park is right down the street from Alexs parents house and is also where the pair went on a walk after Dalton met Alexs parents for the first time. The day of the proposal Dalton told Alex they were going to a nice dinner that night and Dalton made them leave two hour before the said dinner reservation. He suggested the two go on a little walk at the park, where Dalton had little surprise waiting for Alex. At the park there was a blanket, flowers, and cake set up. It was there Dalton got down on one knee and ask Alex to marry him. After the proposal Dalton had a surprise party waiting for Alex back at her parents house.
