In the world of best friends, Nick is one of the best people a girl could wish for. Jackie and Nick met in a production of the Elvis inspired musical, “All Shook Up”. The commute was far for Jackie, so Nick and his family were kind enough to let Jackie stay in their home during the intense rehearsal process. They became fast friends. Nick and Jackie share so many special memories together including; attending each other’s proms, going on family vacations, celebrating Nick on his move to New York, his job on Broadway, and surprising each other for their birthdays. The Bride is honored to share this special time to their long list of happy memories. If you get the chance, ask Nick to do his Celine Dion impression. It’s impressive.

Esther and the bride have known each other since high school, but really got really close after school. Esther has been one of Jackie’s closest friends. Together, they enjoy travel, celebrating special occasions and frequent girls night dinners. Esther is the most kind, reliable and fun friend. She is the kind of person that always has your back and will give you the most honest advice. She is also an extremely talented makeup artist and makes the best guacamole that you'll ever have!

While Hailey and Jackie also went to high school together (and even college!) it was Esther who really brought them together. Hailey and Jackie became fast friends and now they look for any excuse to get together. Hailey has been a huge help supporting Jackie through the planning process as she just celebrated her wedding the year before! She is the hostess with the mostess often throwing the most wonderful get togethers and long weekends. She is the bride's favorite dance partner and lights up any room with her kind and welcoming energy.

Dave is the older brother of the Groom. Growing up together, Dan and David were extremely close - and they still are. David excelled at sports and school - really anything that he put his mind to, and really paved the way for Dan. Dan describes him as his biggest protector and his best friend. Through the highs and lows, they have each other's backs. David has been around since Dan and Jackie first met, and cemented his place in Jackie's heart by letting her hold his youngest son (who was almost 2 at the time). All 3 of David's children have a special place in the couple's heart and will be standing up in the wedding!

One of Jackie’s oldest friends, Becky and Jackie go back all the way to grade school at St. Walter’s. They grew up in the same neighborhood, would meet at the “green park” to sit around and talk, and their moms took turns driving them to school/church choir practice. Sharing a love for music and the arts, they would write songs and perform skits - mostly for themselves and their siblings (who were forced to watch. Shout out to Josh, Collin and Trenton). Becky now lives outside of Atlanta with her husband and young daughter, and Jackie loves to visit and make a guest appearance in their church choir, just like old times.

Matthew is the younger brother of the Groom! He is a recent KU graduate, and is enjoying living in downtown Chicago. Matthew and Dan share a special bond. Dan has always hoped to be a resource for Matthew and an older brother that he can turn to. They enjoy their guys nights out, watching college football/basketball, and ordering late night snacks (gluten free, of course). Look out for Matthew on the dance floor - if Pitbull comes on, he and the newlyweds will show off some super 'impressive" dance moves.

Sarah is the sister of the Groom, but has become a sister to Jackie as well. Over the past 4 years, Sarah has welcomed Jackie into the family with open arms, sharing countless stories of Dan as an older brother and making new memories with them together as a couple. They have bonded over the past year planning both their weddings! Where Jackie will get to return the favor and support Sarah on her big day!

Ryan and Dan met over 20 years ago as young men working their first jobs at a car wash. They are easily each other's closest friend, and have gotten to share some of life's greatest milestones with each other. From spending their early 20's living in the city, to welcoming Ryan's two beautiful children into the world, Dan and Ryan have stayed a constant in each other's lives. They support each other, seek advice from each other, and share lots of funny videos that they find on the internet with each other. Dan is very grateful to have him by his side on this special day.

Angelina (Ina) is the niece of the Groom. Jackie is extremely excited to be an “aunt” to Ina, but she so grateful to also be her friend. Jackie and Ina share a love for live music and enjoy exploring downtown Chicago and attending concerts together. Ina is working hard while attending community college, and carefully selecting which university will have the privilege of hosting her for the next few years.

Collin is the brother of the Bride. Collin and Jackie were living together when Dan and Jackie met. In a funny coincidence, Collin ran into Jackie and Dan at a Mexican restaurant while they were on a date. Collin became the first family member to meet Dan, and he embraced him with open arms. Collin was kind enough to welcome Dan into their home any time. Together, the 3 of them shared dinners, watched sports, and planned various parties to co-host. Collin became a great friend to the couple offering love, support and advice. They are so excited to share this special day with Collin by their side!

Nick is the nephew of the Groom! He is in 5th grade, and his favorite subjects are American history and math. Nick aspires to be an NFL player or an architect. He is training hard, playing both defensive and offensive tackle on the South Elgin football team. Nick carries his love for sports into TV and gaming. His hobbies include Xbox and PS5 games like NFL Madden and Gorilla tag (which is just like regular tag, but the "tagger" is a gorilla). Nick is very excited to be standing up in the wedding, and is even more excited for the food!

Luke is also the nephew of the Groom, and holds the very important job of ring barer! He was recently promoted to "ring security", so everyone can rest easy knowing they are in good hands. Luke is in Kindergarten this year. His favorite subject is math "because it's easy". Luke follows in his brother's footsteps playing football with dreams of playing side by side in the NFL. In his free time, Luke likes to play Minecraft. He does a lot of mining and has both a diamond sword and diamond pickaxe. Come the big day, he can temporarily add diamond ring to his arsenal!

Jheila is the Goddaughter of the bride! She enjoys making art and she is very talented in Math. She has the kindest heart, and will be so beautiful in her special dress for the big day! The bride cried when thinking of the day that the roles reversed and she will attend Jheila’s wedding.
