We met while we were both working a fundraiser event at the Fine Line in Minneapolis. I had been volunteered, by my boss, to be an extra and make sure things ran smoothly. So, as you can imagine, I wasn't too happy. Once Dan walked in, my whole outlook on the night changed. We instantly connected over great conversation and sharing buffalo cauliflower bites.

They say if you can travel with someone, you can make it through anything, and well, I agree. Dan and I have a passion for traveling and adventure, and we've always wanted to go to Mexico. So in February 2022, we finally got my first passport stamp! Getting there was quite a process, customs took forever, I was absolutely starving, and trying to find our rental car was quite a mess, but we finally made it to our gorgeous resort, and just in time to eat! The next morning, Dan had called for breakfast to be delivered to the room. Me, being the difficult one I am, didn't want to get ready before eating, even though he suggested it. Dan finally gets me to go out on our patio and said he'd follow with the food. When I lifted up the lid to our breakfast, there was my ring! I don't think he even got the full question out before I was screaming. Although I still had bedhead, it was absolutely perfect!
