Our Wedding

Dan and Ben first met in Spring of 2018 at the Intrinsic High School copy machine when Ben was visiting his best friend Colton in Chicago. Although Ben says it was love at first sight, Dan was too busy grading a test to notice. Fast forward to July of 2019, Dan road-tripped with Colton to Denver where they stayed at Ben’s apartment. Dan was smitten by Ben. Although Colton likes to take credit for being the matchmaker of the relationship, let it be known that that weekend Colton relegated Dan to the futon in Ben’s living room. (Read the damn room, Colton). From there Dan and Ben’s relationship developed via long distance. After many flights between Chicago and Denver, Ben finally convinced Dan to move to Colorado in June of 2022. As they built a home home together (through many, still unfinished, home renovations), their love continued to grow. In March of 2025, Dan proposed to Ben in Breckenridge while snowboarding on peak 6.
