Q + A

Q: Can we wear body spray/oils/perfume/cologne?

A: Please refrain from wearing any added scents. There are several folks with different allergies who will be in attendance and they would like to be able to enjoy the festivities as much as everyone else.

Q: How do we RSVP?

A: Every individual planning on coming will need to RSVP and pick their meal option. If you don't see RSVP as a menu option at the top of the screen, check back in a couple days as we still may be working out some of the kinks. If you do see the RSVP option in the menu at the top of the screen, head on over there!

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! The theme will have beachy sunrise notes and most will be in summer formal wear or cocktail attire. Unfortunately, the groom has been told he cannot wear his famous ducky shirt (at least not for the important parts).

Q: So.... what's for dinner?

A: Dinner includes plated entrees that will be served by venue staff. The entree options are Mushroom Ravioli, Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, and Chicken Piccata. The mushroom ravioli comes with a vegetable medley, and the meat entrees will have two sides with them. There will also be salad. For those who want to feel young again, there is a chicken tender option.

Q: Will there be an open bar?

A: The cocktail hour (and a half) will include a full open bar. Select beer, wine, and sodas will be available the rest of the evening.

Q: Is the ceremony and reception space accessible?

A: It is made accessible with a golf cart shuttle driven by venue staff that will help take folks down to the ceremony from the parking lot, then up to the front doors for the reception. Bathrooms are available on the main floor where the banquet hall is.

Q: Will there be a shuttle to or from the venue?

A: There will not be an organized shuttle. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available in the area.

Q: Nervous?

A: We are too! Here's some information on the venue so that you know what to expect. The venue is a country club golf course. On the road leading up to the venue, you will pass the pool. Overflow parking is available on the road in front of the pool. The venue is on top of the hill with parking in front of the building and a drive in loop to drop folks off right at the door. Bathrooms for guests are located in the hallway to the right of the door if you are coming in the front door. From the banquet hall, to get to the bathrooms you would enter the lobby and then head to the left of the building's front door. When you arrive to the top of the hill, if you follow the front of the building to the right of the drop off loop and doors, there is a sidewalk leading down to the ceremony space. The ceremony will take place under the covered patio. After the ceremony, you will be directed up a set of stairs to the left of where the bridal party is during the ceremony. The stairs go up to a balcony that is available for use during the reception. Heading inside from the balcony, you will enter the bar area. The banquet hall is just off the bar.
