In Salem, OR during high school! We have been friends since sophomore year and even went to senior prom together!

While we were still friends at this point, we started talking more and enjoying each other’s company as we transitioned into our college years.

We officially started dating in 2018, the first week of our freshman year in college. After a year at community college, Jackson transferred to the University of Oregon for sophomore year, where we were able to experience college together for a bit.

In 2020, Jackson transferred to University of Montana. Despite the distance, we were able to travel to see each other and experience new places we haven’t before while focusing on our education, with both of us finishing our undergraduate degrees in 2022

On August 21st 2023, we officially got engaged during our vacation in the middle of tropical storm Hilary, the first of its kind to hit San Diego in decades!

We got to celebrate this special day with family!

These last few months have been spent navigating the many changes that come with ending long distance and preparing for the married life. Jackson recently moved to OR as he prepares to apply to PT schools this summer, while Dana is working towards her Master’s in Organizational Leadership at Western Oregon University.

After looking at many venues in OR and CO, we absolutely loved Colorado Springs and visiting Garden of the Gods. We are so excited to have our wedding at Creekside, and hope our guests can make the most of their trip by checking out some of the things the Springs has to offer!
