Anyone who knows us knows we love to eat our calories! Here are a few of our favorite places if you want to enjoy while in town celebrating our marriage!
First date spot!
Mike and Dana first met at True Foods Kitchen at the Biltmore Mall, just across the street from where we are getting married!
Just across the street from The Camby is Blanco! With delicious food and margaritas, it is a delicious spot for some lunch or dinner!
Dana definitely recommends the short rib machaca cheese crisp!
When Mike was living in Central Phoenix (pre-Dana), La Grande Orange (LGO) was a delicious spot he frequented! Just 5 minutes from The Camby, it is a great spot for breakfast or grabbing something on the go.
Mike recommends the crepes, or as he calls them "the very, very thin pancakes," and the English muffin!
The Collins is just 1 mile from The Camby and has delicious, down to earth food!
Dana recommends the brussel sprouts! Honestly, how can they not taste amazing with bacon and balsamic!
Just a 14 minute drive from The Camby is one of Dana's local favorites, Diego Pops!
If (when) you go, Dana's favorites are the brussel sprout nachos (with the sauce basket) and the watermelon mint margarita.
If you are looking for a sweet treat, this is one of Dana's favorites! Just a 15 minute drive from The Camby, Unbaked has delicious cookie dough, shakes, and even boozy shakes!
Just 7 minutes away from The Camby is one of our guilty pleasures, Crumbl! While it won't be open on our wedding day, we won't guilt you for ordering one (or 4) the day before or day after our wedding!
Crumbl has a rotating menu and each week there are new cookies to enjoy! Mike's favorite is the classic chocolate chip (only cookie available every week) and Dana's favorite is either twix, cookies and cream milkshake, or cornbread. (Honestly, how do you choose just 1!)
Dana and Mike will typically order a box of 4 and each get half of each cookie to enjoy. It is also a great DoorDash order!
How can we have a Phoenix wedding and not offer a hike up Camelback -- probably the most iconic hike in Phoenix! There are 2 sides to hike up Camelback: Cholla and Echo Canyon. Cholla is probably the easier of the two, but both will give you quite the workout!
Cholla: If you're looking for a great workout with beautiful views, the Cholla Trail is for you. Cholla gains about 1250 feet over 1.42 miles and may not be for you if you're afraid of heights and look out for the loose gravel. The round trip hike will take approximately 2-3 hours but really depends on your fitness level and how many times you stop to take pictures.
Echo Canyon: This trail is an intense and difficult anaerobic hike the entire 1.23 miles to the summit. It ascends approximately 1,280 ft, from 1,424 ft above sea level to 2,704 ft.
TIP: We definitely recommend taking a Lyft or Uber to hike or it might take a bit to find a parking spot.
Anyone who knows Dana knows she LOVES her Orangetheory. Yes, Mike does like it too. It was one of the first places they looked for when they found out they were moving to Minneapolis.
If you would like a great workout, you are welcome to join Dana! Mike and Dana's home studio(s) are up in Scottsdale at South Scottsdale (Indian Bend and Scottsdale Road) and Scottsdale Ranch (92nd and Shea).
Once it gets closer to the wedding, we will let you know which classes at least Dana will be partaking in!
Would this be a Feld wedding without a mention of golf? Phoenix has so many incredible golf courses, including the Arizona Biltmore just a mile from The Camby.
For intel on all the golf courses in order to find the right round for you, talk to Mike or Josh Feld!
While it may not be what Mike considers "real golf," it definitely is fun!
An amazing mall just 13 minutes away from The Camby! Whether you need to get a last-minute outfit for the wedding or wanting to enjoy some shopping time, Fashion Square definitely is a top pick!
