It's Zoo Blooms time at this Cincinnati Zoo. Also home to Fiona, the baby hippo (though she's too young for the public eye yet). A great place for both kids and adults.

Cincinnati's oldest neighborhood, now filled with dozens of shops, art galleries, restaurants (including the Food Network featured Taste of Belgium and The Senate), bars (anyone remember Nick Lachey?), arcade bars (16-Bit) and board game bars (The Rook), and the famous Graeter's Ice Cream and Holtman's Doughnuts. Most places don't take reservations, so be prepared for a wait, but everyone will text you when your table is ready so you're free to walk around. Washington Park is right nearby too!.

Findlay Market in historic <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Over-the-Rhine" title="Over-the-Rhine">Over-the-Rhine</a>, <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincinnati,_Ohio" class="mw-redirect" title="Cincinnati, Ohio">Cincinnati, Ohio</a>, is the state's oldest continuously operated public market. The Findlay Market Buildingwas listed on the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Register_of_Historic_Places" title="National Register of Historic Places">National Register of Historic Places</a> (NRHP) on June 5, 1972. The market is the last remaining of the nine that once served Cincinnati. Find a farmers market, local specialty grocers, restaurants and artisans.

Findlay Market

Downtown park with fountains, a stage, a children's playground and a dog park. With numerous events, concerts and classes held throughout the spring and summer, it's a wonderful place to be. It also provides the best view of the Historic Music Hall, and is central to many restaurants (Zula's, Salazaar's) and bars (Queen City Radio).

Another favorite brewery of ours, wide open space with a rooftop bar as well.

Rhinegeist Brewery

Home of the Cincinnati Reds! Tickets are reasonable, and most Fridays there are fireworks after the show. Located at "The Banks" along the river, the area is full of bars, restaurants, and great views.

Great American Ball Park

Riverfront urban park with walking paths, interactive fountains, children's play areas and access to the "Purple People" Walking Bridge that leads to Newport on the Levee.

Opened on the banks of the Ohio River in Cincinnati in 2004, the mission of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is to reveal stories of freedom's heroes, from the era of the Underground Railroad to contemporary times, challenging and inspiring everyone to take courageous steps of freedom today. A history museum with more than 100,000 visitors annually, it serves to inspire modern abolition through connecting the lessons of the Underground Railroad with today's freedom fighters. The center is also a convener of dialogue on freedom and human rights.
