Once upon a time in the sunny land of Newport Beach, a young Michael was living his best beach life until his family decided to trade the ocean waves for the suburban charm of Western Springs. Meanwhile, just a hop, skip, and a jump away in La Grange, Danae was busy being her fabulous self. Fate, with its quirky sense of humor, brought them both to LTHS High School. But with a school so big, they didn't cross paths until the end of Senior Year.

It all started with a prom plot twist worthy of a teen rom-com. Danae helped Michael ask her best friend to prom, and Michael returned the favor by helping his friend ask Danae. Spoiler alert: both promposals were a success, and a beautiful friendship was born.

Fast forward to college years, where Michael was cheering for the Spartans at Michigan State University, and Danae was donning Badger red at the University of Wisconsin. Despite the miles between them, they kept in touch with late-night phone calls, sharing stories of their adventures and keeping each other company on long walks home after nights out.

By the summer before their senior year of college, it became clear that their friendship had blossomed into something more. A magical New Year's Eve trip to Denver sealed the deal, and they officially became a couple!

Over the past eight years, Michael and Danae have become the ultimate travel buddies, jetting off to family lake houses and soaking up the sun in Seal Beach, California. They've also discovered a mutual love for golfing (yes, even Danae!), spinning records, and endless laughter. Their journey has taken them from Chicago to California and back again, and who knows where the next adventure will lead?

Through it all, they've remained best friends, partners in crime, and each other's biggest fans. And now, they're excited to start this new chapter together, surrounded by the people they love most. Cheers to love, laughter, and a lifetime of adventures!
