One Sunday after church we both attended a call out meeting to learn more about mission trips that we wanted to go on. Little did we know we were both interested in going to the same missions trip. In a room full of over a hundred people we gravitated towards each other and began talking. After the meeting we ended up talking for hours. Both of us intrigued by the other agreed to meet up again and each time we met up time went by quickly and conversation flowed easily. We talked for two weeks, went on one date and immediately mutually decided we did not want to date anyone else.

A few months later we traveled to WA state to visit Baudilio's family and friends where Danae got to meet his parents for the first time. Danae had always dreamed of hiking in Washington State and specifically wanted to hike to a lookout in Mount Rainier National Park. We hiked to the lookout which contained 360° views of the cascade mountains and Mount Rainier. As Danae was turned admiring the view of the mountains, Baudilio got down on one knee and proposed. The picture on the home page of our website is a picture his parents snapped of us right after he proposed at the lookout and the rest is history!
