It all started back in 2015 at the University of Minnesota, where we both swam for the Gophers. We briefly dated during college, but life took us in different directions. Though we parted ways, we never completely forgot about each other. Years went by, but something about our connection remained.

Then, in 2023, out of the blue, John messaged Dani on Instagram. The timing was right, and just like that, we were reconnecting over messages and catching up on everything we’d missed in the past eight years. Before we knew it, John was packing up and moving back to Minnesota from Texas, and we were ready to pick up where we had left off.

We quickly realized that the bond we shared was stronger than ever, and all the years apart only made us more certain that this was the kind of love we’d been waiting for. It felt like fate, and from that moment, we haven’t looked back. Now, here we are, about to start this next chapter of our lives together, and we couldn't be more excited for what’s to come!
