Our story begins back in the summer of 2015, when we both happened to be spreading mulch in yards to raise money for Young Life camp. Our paths crossed, and it didn't take long for us to realize we enjoyed talking to one another. We spent that summer texting a ton, hanging out together with friends, and creating a great foundation. At the end of the summer we departed to our separate high schools as friends.

As we both went to off to college, we remained in touch, always trying to get together during breaks for game nights or Prison Break marathons. During those four years, we grew up and learned a lot about who we were and what we wanted in life. We both graduated and ended up back living in the Naperville area at the start of 2022, where we happened to run into each other at Yellowbox Church. From there, a few game nights at the Fridman's showed us that spark from 2015 had never truly gone away.

We had our first date at the end of February 2022 and wound up taking a trip to Paris that June. We celebrated the love and commitment of some of our close friends in the summer of 2023, which resulted in a month long road trip out west. After being smushed in a car together for so long and loving every minute of it, we decided it made sense to move in together when we returned. Our love has grown and solidified since then, and in March of 2024, Billy booked a surprise trip to Colorado and proposed!
