Their story began in Charlotte, North Carolina. Cam was actually one of the first people Dani met after moving into her new CLT apartment from Lynchburg, VA. A mutual friend introduced them at her housewarming get-together.

Cameron was hired at Charlotte Christian School shorty after as the Director of Strength and Conditioning, where Dani was working as a 3rd grade teacher. After being friends for a few years, the timing lined up where Cam ventured to ask Dani out after hitting it off at a friend’s birthday party.

Dating as co-workers was all kinds of fun. Cameron’s athletes would take photos of them talking on campus and yell “Coach Lew with Rizz!” Cam would bring Dani iced coffees on campus daily which made her 3rd graders think he was the doordash guy. Or her dad.

After 10 months of countless pickle-ball dates, gym sessions, weekend escapades, volleyball games, golf struggles, meals shared, family experiences & countless more adventures, Cam gathered the courage to ask Dani to marry him on a hike in Boone. The rest is history!
